Sermon Series Package (Citizens)
Leading up to the 2020 election, Oxford University UMC launched a sermon series about where our deepest allegiance really lies. Developed alongside our pastors, "Citizens" was built on the New Testament's reminder that our citizenship is in heaven — that in a world sorted into red and blue, we belong first to something else entirely. Not a donkey. Not an elephant. A lamb.
The design leaned into that tension on purpose: familiar campaign-trail visual language — the colors, the poster styles, the buttons — turned toward a different kind of allegiance. The package included title slides in three colorways, social graphics, and campaign-style buttons we actually produced and handed out, along with concept explorations for posters and merch that carried the idea further.
