Sermon Series Package (VBS: The Series)

"What if we did a summer sermon series that goes back to the classic stories from the Bible?" Great idea. Let's call it what it is: "VBS: The Series."

If you grew up going to Vacation Bible School, you already feel what this series was going for — construction paper, juice boxes, felt-board Bible stories, the whole bright summer of it. Our team developed the concept together, and the name did half the work: one summer of classic Bible stories, preached to adults, wrapped in the nostalgia of childhood church summers. Sometimes the best ideas are the simplest ideas.

The design matched the vibe — bright, colorful, thick-lined, super fun. And the package was built to run without me: I designed the core system, showed our pastors how to use it, and they built their own slides each week from the resources I provided. The congregation loved it, and our pastors rode the VBS branding through classic stories all summer long.
