If there is one piece of advice I could give to any company, in any industry, it is this:

SHOW YOUR PERSONALITY!

Sorry for yelling, but nobody wants to do business with a boring, bland, and cold corporation. Lucky Town understood that. They started brewing when Mississippi had exactly one brewery, because they thought their home state deserved another option — founders who called beer "the ultimate nerd product" because of the science, engineering, and art in every batch, and who described their own product as tasting like "hard work in a pint glass." Their motto: luck favors the bold.

During my years at Mabus Agency, I was lucky (wink) enough to spend a day with them making this video to show off their products, their process, and — you guessed it — their personality. I directed the shoot, ran camera, and directed the edit, with an assistant handling the cut.

Sadly, Lucky Town is no longer with us. Mississippi misses you, but you're not forgotten.
