Cargill Associates

Testimonial Video (Auburn UMC)

Cargill Associates exists with a stated mission of "Advancing The Church," and much of that work happens through hands-on stewardship consulting with churches navigating real financial challenges. I produced this testimonial video to document one of those stories firsthand — Auburn UMC's, told by their pastor.

Auburn UMC came to Cargill in early 2024 not looking to fund a building project, but to rebuild trust — in their financial footing, and within their congregation, after a season of denominational strife had left both shaken. Cargill worked alongside the church's staff and lay leadership for over a year, well past the length of a typical campaign, helping them shift from short bursts of fundraising to a sustained, year-round culture of giving.

The result, in the pastor's own words: the first finance committee meeting in memory where the church was "over" in its giving — the healthiest financial position they'd seen in a long time.

Cargill commissioned this video to show prospective clients exactly what a partnership with them looks like, through the voice of a church that had actually lived it. I handled every part of the production myself — scheduling, interview, on-location shoot, b-roll, and edit, start to finish.
